Check out the latest publication I helped author in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, a medical journal, about the importance of immediately treating infections that occur near the eye and eyelid. Although rare, infections around the eyelids can occur after surgery and it is crucial for the physician to identify the early signs so that immediate treatment can be performed.
