Check out the wonderful work my NYU colleague, Dr. Matthew White, has been working on. I was luck to work with Dr. White during my tenure at NYU, where we performed countless aesthetic and reconstructive oculo-facial plastic surgeries. Dr. White was the lead author on the first article ever published in the medical literature on Ultherapy. The scientific study was featured in the Archives of Facial Plastic Surgery, and demonstrated the delivery of energy to "tighten" the underlying layers of the face (termed the SMAS layer) without harming the overlying skin. This can help those that are not ready for or not interested in undergoing traditional facelift surgery.
