Dr. Zoumalan is an Aesthetic and Reconstructive Oculoplastic Surgeon. An Oculoplastic Surgeon is a subspecialized surgeon who specializes exclusively around the eyes and face. He has undergone training in Ophthalmology at Stanford University and in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at NYU and Columbia University. Dr. Zoumalan is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons (ASOPRS). Such training enables Dr. Zoumalan to understand the complex anatomy of the eyes and surrounding structures and to address these issues at an expert level. While in New York, Dr. Zoumalan also became an expert in the use of Botox and hyaluronic acid fillers (such as Juvederm and Restylane) and trained other physicians how to safely and properly administer Botox and hyaluronic acid fillers in Facial Aesthetics.
